Sometimes it’s, “Where are you going?” Or, it might be, “Move over.” Those are just some of the things that I’m pretty sure my dog would say out loud if he could talk human. He’s pretty much always by my side. It’s very hard to walk around the house or go outside or do the laundry or use the bathroom without the dog following me. Sometimes I catch myself tip toeing around the house so that I don’t wake him up. Or, I’ll just lay on the couch and take a nap with him so that I don’t disturb him while he’s snoring. When my daughter is spending the night somewhere, the dog is almost always cozying up right next to me in bed. (Yes, I’m one of those dog owners.) I don’t mind (most of the time). His snoring doesn’t keep me awake. It’s the middle-of-the-night get-up-and-walk-around-in-circles-on-the-bed rounds that can be annoying.
“This tile is so cool. I think I’ll take a nap.” That’s what the dog is thinking now. At least, that’s my educated guess.
